Having clarity is a key ingredient to having the success you want – without it, it will be hard to get anywhere. Take some time and write out what you really want. This is your chance to DREAM BIG! When I first start working with a new client, I have them do an exercise where they map out their ideal lifestyle. What I’ve been noticing is that a lot of people get stuck here. They won’t even allow themselves to admit what they really want because they automatically start questioning how they will make it happen. It stops them before they even get started!
Don’t be one of those people. If you want to live a freedom-filled, abundant life, you must get past this. The how isn’t for you to figure out. It’s really none of your business. That is up to the universe (GOD). This is one of the hardest parts to let go of – needing to control how it comes in. Don’t worry about it. The universe (GOD) has your back. You just have to dream BIG and be open to seeing and receiving what shows-up. So go ahead – write down what you really want.
Mapping out your vision also helps to align yourself with your bigger purpose and mission. This will help you stay motivated and inspired. Vision is a little different from your purpose in that it’s the way in which you are going to carry out your purpose. Your purpose is what you are here to do – it’s what you are passionate about. Your vision is how you see carrying out your purpose.
Staying connected to your vision and purpose every day is essential. It will give you the energy to handle the less than exciting details of running your business day-to-day.
Make the commitment to honor and carry out your purpose, and take steps toward your vision every single day. Set smaller goals within your bigger vision. Take the steps that you are aware of now and pay attention to all of the opportunities that show-up that will enable you to achieve your bigger vision. Say yes to those opportunities! 2017 is the year of the YES!!!
Act like you are already at the top and make decisions from there. This is what will set you free. Don’t wait until you’re there to start doing what is you want! Start saying yes now! Once you make the decision (saying yes), the opportunity will be there for you at the
same time. Your subconscious will try to stop you, because it wants you to stay where it feels you are safe and comfortable. This is what will delay you or even keep you stuck. You don’t have to do it alone.
Could it be that “making things happen” is in the universe’s(GOD) job description, not ours? Yeah, we can help out, if it asks us to. Get a hammer perhaps, or a screw driver. Yet, perhaps after that, all we have to do is just kick back and watch in awe as the Universe works its magic. We can then have the joy of kicking back and watching the Universe(GOD) , in its wisdom, do what it does best, through us. The reality is that the Universe (GOD) has already been “making things happen” way before we were born and will most likely continue to do so after we are born into our next experience. It has some tricks up its sleeves for easy resolution, which we may not know about.
The universe (GOD) , which has a long-term track record of creating galaxies & civilizations to populate those galaxies, certainly has the wisdom to pay our bills, heal our relationships, and re-energize our bodies, if we allow it to. Or do everything on our “to do” lists in perfect timing. Or build web sites for us. Or co-create a peaceful, loving planet with us.
Yet, we seem to revel in the challenge of pulling it all off, just on our own. Look at me! Look at what I accomplished! In fact, we can become so obsessed with being the doer, the “hero” who can DO IT ALL, we push the true doer aside. We may end up blocking the universe (GOD) from moving through us with even greater ease.
We want the glory of a successful effort there. We want the credit. We want to make sure it gets done right, on our terms. Yet, how well suited are we really to pull off the miracles of everything we are struggling to achieve? Is this working for us?
As brilliant as we may feel we are, we almost never have the complete overview of what is going on in most areas of our lives. The universe does. What is a huge task for us, may just be a piece of cake for this larger perspective.
We have heard the phrase “Letting Go, Letting God.” We may like this notion. Yet, what keeps many of us from truly LIVING this way at all times? This is a question for us to ponder.
What keeps us from surrendering our mental efforts and allowing the universe(GOD) to DO IT ALL through us even more?
Why do we sometimes insist on micro-managing our lives, when the universe and Life Itself can offer the overview and effectiveness of Macro management?
Is it because we do not trust the universe (GOD) to do it right? Is it because we do not even believe there is a greater intelligence beyond our thinking efforts?
Is it because we do not feel we deserve this help? Is it because we believe that struggle is the only way to learn?
Is it because we are still trying to prove ourselves or get cosmic merit badges?
What is it for you?
What is required for you to let go and allow the Universe (GOD) to bring you all you have dreamt of?
