This is a dead serious question.

Are you 100% Responsible for your life?

This question can change your life forever. People who blame others for how their life is turning out can never have lasting change.

It is my parents fault.

It is my husbands fault.

It is my kids fault.

It is my jobs fault.

It is my in-laws fault.

It is my friends fault.

The list can go on and on. I know people like this, and trust me when I tell you that it is hard to get this message to sink in.

You have to own your life. You have to own your choices. Who did you choose for a husband? How have you behaved? Have you lived your life with quality behavior? Have you taught people how to treat you? Have you allowed people to treat you badly? Do you treat others badly? Do you respect others? Do you demand respect for yourself? Do you live with honor and integrity?

Depending on how you answered these questions is the answer to whether you 100% own your life or not.

I would rather live alone and take responsibility for my own actions than allow someone else to ruin my life. Now I am not suggesting for a minute that you get rid of everyone in your life. However, I am suggesting that you do some evaluating and decide who in your life is worthy of working on to improve the relationship. Some people are toxic and must be removed safely. Others can be taught that you will no longer be treated in a bad way. Most people fit in that category quite honestly. We teach people how to treat us.

Own your life.

Run your life in a way that will win. Don’t let others run your life in the ground.

You have one life to live. Live it right. Live it with integrity. Live it from a God centered place. Ask God to lead you in all things, and he will.
